Guidelines for using this website and participating in the activities of ΚΥΝΗΓΕΤΙΚΟΣ ΣΥΛΛΟΓΟΣ ΠΕΡΑΤΗΣ ΑΓ. ΘΕΡΑΠΩΝΤΟΣ (MOI: ΛΕΜΣ77).
1. About these terms
This website is operated by ΚΥΝΗΓΕΤΙΚΟΣ ΣΥΛΛΟΓΟΣ ΠΕΡΑΤΗΣ ΑΓ. ΘΕΡΑΠΩΝΤΟΣ, a non-profit association registered with the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus (MOI: ΛΕΜΣ77). By browsing the site or taking part in our activities, you agree to the guidelines set out below.
2. Purpose of the website
The site exists to inform the public about our conservation programs, governance and contact details. It is informational and non-commercial: nothing on it is sold, and no payment is ever requested through this website.
3. Accuracy of information
We take care to keep programme descriptions, dates and legal information accurate and current. Seasonal activities may nevertheless change at short notice due to weather, fire risk levels or instructions from the authorities. Please confirm details with us before travelling to an event.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, no automated scraping that burdens our servers, no submission of unlawful, abusive or misleading content through the contact form, and no use of our name, emblem or materials to imply an endorsement we have not given.
5. Participation in association activities
Participation in planting days, cleanups, patrols, walks and workshops is voluntary and unpaid. Participants take part at their own risk and are expected to follow the instructions of the activity coordinator at all times.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for them throughout the activity.
Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring water, and disclose any medical condition relevant to their safety in the field.
6. Legal compliance and ethical conduct
All members and participants must comply with Cypriot legislation on hunting, firearms, protected species, closed seasons, land access and fire safety. Any conduct that harms protected wildlife, damages habitat, or endangers others is grounds for immediate exclusion from our activities and, where appropriate, referral to the competent authorities.
Respect for landowners, other visitors to the countryside, and for the traditions of the local community is expected without exception.
7. Membership
Membership is granted in accordance with the association's statutes and may be suspended or terminated by the board for serious breaches of these terms or of the statutes, subject to the member's right to be heard.
8. Donations and funds
Any donations received are applied exclusively to conservation activities and the association's operating costs. We do not distribute profits, and we do not solicit payments through this website.
9. Intellectual property
Texts, the association emblem and original materials published here belong to the association. You may quote or share them for non-commercial, educational or journalistic purposes with clear attribution. Commercial reuse requires our written permission.
10. External links
Where we link to authorities, partner organisations or map services, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Cypriot law, the association is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Cypriot courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
